As a white-bodied person I take a reduced payment for any anti-racist workshops I co-lead with Red Lotus Consulting as an associate. All or a significant percentage of any earnings I make are donated to various organizations through monthly contributions or one-off payments. On May 29th, S.Rae Peoples and I offered a 3-hour workshop called “Anti-Racism: It’s not a fad, it’s a lifestyle!” that guided participants on the ways in which anti-racist work is a lifetime commitment.

On November 28th, 2020, S.Rae Peoples and I offered a two-hour workshop for white people looking to cultivate skills for staying with discomfort and bolster their anti-racist practice.
Profits were split 60/40 — 60% going to S.Rae, 40% to me. I donated 100% of my earnings from this to the Mi’kmaq frontliners fighting to protect their treaty rights on the East coast of what is known as Canada.
