The shenanigans of 47’s absolutely ill-advised tariffs have come home to roost. Who knew that a person who knows nothing about business but just happens to have a lot of money, might be terrible at understanding economics. I can no longer afford to ship my items to the U.S. as the “de minimus” duty threshold of $800 has been suspended. There will now be a 35% duty charge added to all items, and I have to jump through a bunch of hoops I do no not have spoons to understand to apply this charge to shipping items.

I am an independent writer and artist with a minimal income who manages this shop on my own. I do my best to ship items in a timely manner and will always send clear communication on the status of an order, especially if it is delayed for any reason.
In addition to funding my work, I use proceeds from the sales in my shop to make contributions to various organizations working towards liberation for queer, trans, Black, Indigenous, Asian, and disabled folks, like TransLifeLine, Buy From a Black Woman, Skipping Stone network, Tsuru for Solidarity, See Change Collective and The Indian Residential School Survivors Society.
