Out thoughts are not real. This is something difficult for us to grasp because it's an idea that the conceptual mind struggles with.

We view the world through the filter of our mind and out brain tends to embellish far more than we realise. Much of the struggle we feel in life arises because we equate what we think with something real and tangible.

By knowing our own mind - through meditation practice - we can learn to see thoughts as just thoughts. Not what is 'true' or 'real'.

The world is so much bigger than the ideas we have about it.
