I made this piece as a gift for Ani Pema Chodron. She is inspired by a talk in which Pema discusses a practice she has for relating to anxiety she experiences, rather than avoiding it or beating herself up for how she feels.
In the talk she describes the visualisation she has of herself when she's experiencing high levels of anxiety. I took her description to create this Dakini - green, fangs, fierce.
Dakini's reside in the charnel ground and I consider my practice working with anxiety, sitting through an anxiety attack, as charnel ground practice.
