This limited-edition t-shirt features a print of my original Thangka line drawing of the Bodhisattva Manjushri.

Only 55 shirts were printed at a cost of $5.50CAD each. Limited sizes available. To upgrade this website to track inventory would nearly triple my web hosting fees, so I am tracking inventory by hand and will do my best to remove sizes when they are no longer available.

100% of the proceeds from the sale of this shirt are donated to organizations working for racial justice, such as Sister Song for Reproductive Justice, The Indian Residential School Survivors Fund, Tsuru for Solidarity and the Wet'suwet'en land defenders.

The Bodhisattva Manjushri is the embodiment of transcendent wisdom. Drawn androgynously and given several different pronouns, they are depicted seated, cross-legged, with a flaming sword held aloft. With this sword they cut through ignorance again and again. In their other hand is a copy of the Prajnaparamita sutra, a symbol of Manjushri’s profound realization of the interconnectedness and boundlessness of all things. They represent the power of not-knowing — being willing to let go of fixed ideas, expectations, and rigid beliefs.

These shirts were printed by Midnight Supply Co., a minority-woman-owned print shop on the land of the Coast Salish nations and peoples. They are printed on Bella+Canvas tri-blend shirts, an L.A.-based wholesaler and retailer with a focus on worker’s rights and environmentally ethical manufacturing.
