Kaitlyn's first published book, Wise at Any Age was a pure passion project of writing, illustration, & design.
Basically she was 25, not yet published despite that being something she'd wanted since she was three, and so she figured out how to publish a book on her own. An English professor, an aspiring book agent, and her dad all helped with editing. Her mum helped by actually buying a lot of copies (and sharing tears of joy when Kait got her first print proof in the post!)
Mostly, she still thinks this was pretty awesome, although she's learned a LOT since then and would change the bit about meditation.
